Hepsia's File Manager section permits you to administer the content of your site using simple point & click maneuvers. Right-click contextual menus allow rapid access to various file management options, while convenient drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your personal computer in no time. You will also find built-in file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and extract files without difficulty too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag-and-drop functionality will enable you to effortlessly move files between your desktop computer and the web hosting server. Simply select the file that you would like to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. Additionally, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a brand new file or folder with only a single mouse click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, explore the contents of a file or update its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to archive and unzip all types of files. It does work astonishingly fast - simply select the files you would like to make a zipped archive of and press the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive file to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager user interface, you actually do not need any external software in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to explore the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear on your web site. Besides, you will find a set of in-built file editors, which will give you total command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more advanced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy users.
